Notifications
woic.ai can ring in real time while your dashboard is open, and send push notifications when the browser is closed.
The fastest way to turn ringing on
The dashboard can guide you through install first, then notifications, in one flow.
Installed web apps are more reliable for return-to-call prompts and closed-browser alerts, especially on phones.
Install first, then allow notifications
Push notifications on iOS only work from the Home Screen app.
Open woic.ai in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Launch the installed app and allow notifications when prompted.
These browsers cannot install web apps on iOS. Use Safari for the one-time install.
Install from the browser menu
Tap the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
Go to Settings, Notifications, and enable Notify even when this browser is closed.
Allow notifications in your browser
Click the install icon in the address bar or use the browser menu to install woic.ai.
Firefox supports notifications without installing. Allow notifications in dashboard settings.
Use File, Add to Dock on macOS Sonoma or later, then allow notifications.
If notifications stop arriving
Open the lock or site settings icon in your browser's address bar and switch Notifications to Allow.
Push subscriptions are per-device. Visit Settings, Notifications on the new device and enable push again.
Email hello@woic.ai with your browser and device. We'll help you through it.
Keeping active calls reachable
On Chrome and Edge desktop, supported calls can open in a small floating window when you leave the tab or tap Minimize.
During connected calls, woic tries to keep the screen awake and show OS media controls where your browser allows it.
iOS can still suspend a web call after switching apps. Keep the call screen visible for the most reliable audio.
